Second interview tips

A second interview means you have succeeded persuasively and the interviewer believes that you are their correct selection. A second interview is your second chance to prove yourself to the employer that you are absolutely perfect to the job.

Some tips for your second interview:

1. Firstly, contact the interviewer to receive a schedule of interviews. A Second interview maybe a panel interview or a personal one, a company guide tour, a meeting with line managers and employees, etc;

2. Review your first interview. Check the questions again for any wonder of the interviewer in the last interview and prepare answers and references for them;

3. Research more information about the Company: recent situation of the Company; Why they would like to recruit for the job you are applying for, etc;

4. Practice the interview; research for any sample second-interview questions and try answering them by yourself;

5. Try to make questions to make clear about your role from which, you can know exactly the requirements of the employers;

6. After the interview, if you are offered a guide tour about the Company, be sure that you greet the managers or heads of units;

7. To end the interview, you should inquire for more information about follow-up procedures and when they will get the interview result;

8. After the interview, you should write a thank-you letter to each interviewer and show your appreciation to them.

These are really important tips that a candidate should remember and follow well when preparing for a second interview.
